Montecito fabric panel bed — 84" wide, 86.5" deep, 48" high (213.4 x 219.7 x 121.9 cm). A plain upholstered panel with a softly rolled top edge, set on a natural oak plinth that steps back beneath it...

Material

Upholstered panel headboard on a solid oak plinth

Oatmeal linen-weave upholstery on natural oak

Upholstery is cut and fitted by hand. Slight variation in seam placement and in the depth of colour between batches is normal, and cushions soften and settle within the first few weeks of use.

Oak is a natural material. Grain, colour and figure differ from piece to piece and from the photographs. Two pieces bought together will not be identical, and are not meant to be.

Specifications

Care: Vacuum the upholstery with a brush head every few weeks and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly.
Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth -- press, never rub, and work from the outside of the mark inwards.
Keep the piece out of direct sun. Prolonged sunlight fades every upholstery fabric, and a bedroom window is the usual culprit.
Professional cleaning is recommended for anything that has soaked in.

Dust with a dry soft cloth along the grain. For marks, wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry at once -- standing water raises the grain and leaves a ring.
Never use silicone polish, solvents or anything abrasive; all three cloud a matt lacquer permanently.
Keep the piece away from radiators and out of direct sun, both of which move solid timber. Full care guide
